Automation

This mobile harvesting system automates large-scale vertical farming and can be connected to multiple farm units. The system uses a mobile car that travels along the plant troughs, collecting vegetables as it moves. The harvested produce is then transported through the system, where it is cut and collected. This solution significantly reduces the labor and time required for harvesting, a traditionally time-consuming and labor-intensive process.

Car, Cart and Cutting Mechanism

After collection by the Mobile Car, the produce in their cups are channelled through the pipe interface, where they would slide in right down to the cutter for cutting. Through the process of cutting the cups and produce are separated into two baskets, reducing sorting and post-processing time for operators.

Awareness - Exhibition

At Singapore EXPO Foyer 2, an exhibition was created to highlight Constellar’s sustainability efforts and to encourage public engagement with the 30 by 30 vision.
