Brewa

Termite Mound Inspired Wall to Improve Ventilation

Brewa is a biomimetic wall panel inspired by the ventilation capabilities of a termite mound. Blending the design and functional aspects of a mound, the wall panel paves the way for eco-friendly building designs that prioritise sustainability and energy efficiency in Singapore and beyond.

Potential Applications

Brewa can effectively capture and disperse wind, and dissipate heat for enhanced thermal comfort. Its modular design and compatibility with traditional bricks can adapt to fit any wall of any size.

We believe that Brewa has been a significant step towards passive ventilation and paves the way for eco-friendly building designs that prioritize sustainability and energy efficiency in the context of Singapore and beyond.

Potential applications of Brewa extend beyond homes and offices.

Protected Areas with sensitive information can utilize Brewa to cool enclosed spaces without compromising privacy.

Data Centres which requires large amounts of cooling can also incorporate Brewa into their exteriors for better cooling.
