Introducing Proj S28 – SCDF_DA Tool

A machine-learning-powered system designed to draw insights into individuals’ fitness profiles at the Civil Defence Academy, SCDF. Our team offers a unique identification system along with data integration tools, predictive models and interactive dashboards whilst ensuring seamless integration with SCDF’s existing systems for a scalable solution to enhance training efficiency.

Our team collaborates with the EXCEL FitLab, SCDF’s state-of-the-art training facility, to harness cutting-edge technology and scientific methodologies in enhancing the physical performance of emergency responders. By analysing individual performance data, we aim to derive key insights into trainees’ physiological fitness and work with HTX to derive new insights.

1) Structure of Data

  • Unique ID has a high collision rate (Low robustness)
  • Not a One-to-One relationship

2) Technical Background Considerations

  • Solution needs to be designed for users from all backgrounds
  • Client's requirements are still evolving
  • Solution to be adaptable and sustainable 

3) User Interface (UIUX)

  • Not intuitive
  • Unable to perform certain comparisons
  • Contains inaccuracies
