Autonomously collects packages and extracts information from delivery documents.
Allowing logistics personnel to sort and move aircraft components for maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) promptly, thus improving productivity for Collins Aerospace Singapore
Components
Gravity Flow Shelf
With health and safety of logistics staff in mind, the shelf is kept to a maximum height of 1.5m to prevent heavy objects placed at dangerous heights from toppling over.
Pulley Lift
Vertical sorting system to maximise space efficiency. In-built weight sorting system ensures lighter packages to be at the top and heavier packages to be at the bottom.
Facade
Minimal modifications required to the existing architectural elements such as the walls and windows.
LCD Monitor
Simple and intuitive interface for the delivery person to navigate through the drop-off process seamlessly.
Shelter
A shelter to not only provide shade for the delivery person but also prevent rain from reaching the electronics at the front.
How does it work?
The delivery person is able to see the open shelter, while walking towards it so is able to approach it intuitively.
Delivery person initiates the drop-off process by pressing the start button and scanning the delivery order.
Once the information scanned has been verified, the package can be pushed through the chute.
The pulley lift measures the weight of the package, and moves to the corresponding shelf.
At its desired height, the pulley lift will release its doors, and the package will slide off to the end of the flow rack shelf.
The logistic staff may collect the package whenever convenient for them.
